Scorpio Full Moon: Illumination, Emotional Depth, and Liberation

As the Full Moon in Scorpio aligns today, May 12th, 2025, we may be compelled to confront the raw intensity of our inner world. This lunation, amplified by its dynamic opposition to Uranus in Taurus, not only illuminates our deepest emotions but also brings the core Scorpio themes of emotional depth, bonding, betrayal, obsession, and vengeance into sharp focus, urging us towards profound liberation.

This suggests that even though the emotions that emerge can be uncomfortable, we have the potential to transmute them into our ultimate freedom.

Pluto beginning it's retrograde journey

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, has recently turned retrograde for a 5 month journey back through the early degrees of Aquarius. Pluto delves into the very roots of our unconscious, governing the cyclical nature of destruction and rebirth. As Pluto moves retrograde, our attention is drawn inward to examine our own relationship with these intense Scorpio themes. We may be asked to confront where we have felt powerless to relationships we've unconsciously given our power away to and how we may have suppressed our own empowerment. As Mars emerges from its post-retrograde shadow in Leo, we may find a renewed sense of courage to actively address these intense Scorpio themes in our lives.
